Lisinopril is an Angiotensin Converting Enzyme (ACE) inhibitor.
Used to treat high blood pressure (hypertension) in adults and children who are at least 6 years old.
Lisinopril is used to treat congestive heart failure in adults, and to improve survival after a heart attack.
Effects Of Lisinopril On Blacks
If you are black and you are taking Lisinopril or know someone who is taking it to treat high blood pressure, please beware and have YOUR DOCTOR take you off it IMMEDIATELY.
We found out that MANY blacks have suffered from Angioedema (which can kill you quickly) caused by Lisinopril.
Angioedema is swelling of the face, lips, mouth, tongue, & back of throat (which can kill you).
