With sad news, Nollywood has announce the demise of one of their best actress, Aisha Abimbola.
The actress Aisha Abimbola died of breast cancer at the age of 47 on May 15 in Canada.
Popularly known as ‘Omoge Campus’ due to her movie that brought her into limelight.
Her full name was Aisha Abimbola Ajayi.
She was born on the 19th of December, 1970 In Epe, Lagos State.
Aisha was born into a Muslim family but changed her religion to Christianity.
She is a triplet, which is where she got her Eta Oko nickname.
Aisha came into limelight in 2001 due to the movie ‘Omoge Campus’. She later acted in ‘Eje Adegbenro’.
She also featured in Family sitcom ‘Kamson and Neighbours’ which was aired for about 10 years. It was produced by Rockview productions and directed by Tunji Bamishigbin.
Aisha Abimbola is a graduate of hotel management and catering, from Lagos State Polytechnic.
Aisha got married to Victor Ibrahim on February 2005, and their union was blessed with a boy and a girl.
The talented pretty actress Aisha, parted with the husband Victor Ibrahim in the year 2012 following ‘an irreconcilable differences”.
Those who know the actress and her beau claimed the separation was not bitter at all.
