Sweet Potato Biscuits

Ingredients For Sweet Potato Biscuits

  • Flour – 250g
  • Mashed Cooked Sweet Potato – 125g
  • Sugar – 25g
  • Salt – Little Quantity
  • Butter (Fat) – 125g
  • Milk – 150ml
  • Baking Powder – 2 Teaspoonful

Method | Recipe For Sweet Potato Biscuits

  • Sieve all dry ingredients together
  • Melt the Butter(fat) in a sauce pan
  • Beat well into the mashed sweet potato
  • Stir in the milk and mix
  • Add the dry ingredients to the potato mixture and stir well
  • Add a little more milk if necessary to make soft but not wet dough
  • Turn into a floured board and roll out lightly
  • Cut with a biscuit cutter
  • Arrange on a greased baking pan/tray
  • Bake in a hot oven
